We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds and don’t expect candidates to have worked in a school before. This role would suit someone with experience in catering, hospitality, food preparation, or any hands-on environment involving practical tasks. You will be confident using kitchen equipment, well organised, and able to manage your time effectively in a busy setting. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach are important, along with the ability to build professional relationships with students and staff. You should be reliable, flexible, and able to remain calm under pressure, with a clear understanding of the importance of safeguarding and supporting young people. Flexible working arrangements may be available and can be discussed to suit individual needs.
