capacity to act as HLTA on an adhoc basis to cover Teacher absence.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant
with experience of working with children in Early Years and KS1 preferable, but
not essential.
This post will primarily be a TA position,
however the successful candidate will also need to be able to cover classes as
a HLTA and will be paid for this period of time appropriately.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant
who:

enjoys working 1-1 with children with additional needs, particularly those
with ADHD /ASD as well as working with groups of children

is calm, sensitive and understanding

has an optimistic, creative, problem solving approach

has an ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and
adults

is committed to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting
the ethos and values of the school

has a proven ability to lead whole class sessions when needed

This post is a one Year Fixed Term contract, 27.1
hours per week, term time only to start in September 2026. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be
required to fulfil a contract for 5 hours per week as a Midday Supervisor (term
time only).
Salary scale ;
For the TA post will be at Level 2,
Point 5-6 (£25,583 - £25,989 FTE,
pro-rata) depending upon experience
When asked to carry out the HLTA
role, there will be an uplift to the TA Salary of the equivalent of Level 12
(£28,598 FTE pro-rata)
For the Midday Supervisor post
Level 1a, Point 3 (£24,796 FTE, pro rata).
