We are seeking to appoint, with immediate effect, a Senior Design Technician to work as part of the Design team, supporting practical work through the preparation and management of materials. This job would suit an organised, experienced DIY-er and training would be provided.
Tasks involved
in the post will include:
·
Support of teaching and learning
throughout Design Faculty.
·
Day-to-day support of faculty equipment
including, PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, laser cutter, plotter cutters, 3D printer, etc
·
General Faculty administration tasks
·
Checking and maintenance of hand tools and
machinery for safe use.
·
Monitoring of Health and Safety including
conducting checks and external servicing
·
Attend/update
data courses as required for safe use and maintenance of machinery.
