We are seeking to appoint a Senior Design Technician to
work as part of the Design team, supporting practical work through the
preparation and management of materials.
Tasks involved in the post will include:
· Support of teaching and learning throughout Design Faculty.
· General Faculty administration tasks
· Monitoring stock levels of materials, tools and equipment, and re-ordering as necessary ensuring that ‘best value for money’ is obtained.
· Checking and maintenance of hand tools and machinery for safe use.
· Monitoring of Health and Safety including conducting checks and external servicing
· Attend/update data courses as required for safe use and maintenance of machinery

Experience would be advantageous but full training will
be provided.
The Design department is a welcoming and

department is well equipped with resources and relevant technology, and we
offer the full range of qualifications through to ‘A’ level.
