Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Sciences teacher (Psychology/Sociology) looking for an exciting opportunity? Manor School is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Social Sciences to join our team, mainly to teach KS5 students but with some lower school Humanities teaching.

Our focus this year is about stripping away tasks that don’t allow teachers to focus on their core business: Planning, Teaching, Assessing. We want our teachers to use time-efficient methods that serve their subject, for the benefit of our students’ learning.

About the Role
We are looking for an inspiring educator who can teach Social Sciences, to join our team, mainly to teach KS5 students.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department.
  • Bring enthusiasm and creativity to the classroom.
Qualifications: 
  • Degree in Humanities education or a related field. 
  • Strong knowledge of current Social Sciences curriculum standards and best practices, especially mastery
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders. 
  • Passion for Social Sciences education and a commitment to inspiring students in the field.
