Manor School is community where we value disruption free learning for our staff and students. At Manor, we want teachers to teach and students to learn. It is that simple. We believe in Success for All and we are looking for staff who embrace that
Our focus this year is about stripping away tasks that don’t allow teachers to focus on their core business: Planning, Teaching, Assessing. We want our teachers to use time-efficient methods that serve their subject, for the benefit of our students’ learning.
Our students are keen to learn and want to be challenged and supported in lessons. They welcome enthusiastic teachers who love their subject and prioritise challenging learning in lessons. We value staff who have that approach and enthusiasm for education.

We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Science, with deep subject knowledge.

Our department prides itself on providing high-quality and challenging education, that balances academic challenge with the support needed for students to succeed. We are currently undertaking a curriculum review to ensure our lessons remain innovative, challenging, and support our students to make progress and develop a love of science. Our aim is to offer a curriculum that stretches the brightest minds while nurturing those who require additional support, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for science.
With an emphasis on practical work, we encourage students to develop their investigative skills, connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, and appreciate the importance of science in solving global challenges. Our passionate teaching team create an environment where students are encouraged to question, explore, and thrive.
