Lead Practitioner Range 10-14 (£62,509-£68,925 per annum)

Due to the in-Trust promotion of our existing SENDCo, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join our team as a secondary based SENDCo.  Working alongside our new Assistant Headteacher (Leading Teaching) and our primary based SENDCo, you will form part of our extended leadership team in driving the school forward on our continuous improvement journey.  We are a great school, and you will be joining dedicated and talented colleagues who care passionately about developing all pupils, including those with a SEND, to live life to the full.  The role comes with a teaching commitment, and you will be supported by an excellent SEND Assistant and a team of HLTA and TA staff who support children in and out of class in our hub provision.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • are passionate about inclusion and enabling children with a SEND to succeed
  • have qualified to be a SENDCo
  • are somebody with a clear vision who can communicate this effectively to all stakeholders
  • are an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • want to be involved in shaping and developing outstanding learning experiences to enable all children to thrive
  • consider yourself to be somebody who works hard and can lead by example
  • want to work in a supportive and caring environment
