About this Role

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic, committed, and reliable individual to our highly successful and motivated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. We teach Spanish and French at KS3, KS4, and KS5, and our department is exceptionally well-resourced. Our collaborative faculty has crafted a broad and balanced curriculum that truly excites our learners. We are proud of our high-performance, with excellent GCSE uptake and outstanding results achieved consistently over the years.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will partner with classroom teachers in the MFL department, adhering to the national curriculum, codes of practice, and school policies. You will support students in Spanish and French lessons, working closely with SEND students who have varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory, or physical difficulties,  including small group support. Your role will be integral in ensuring that students with SEND meet their targets and progress in line with their peers. Additionally, you will spend several hours each week supporting GCSE and/or A-level students with their spoken Spanish and/or French on a one-to-one basis, preparing them for their external exams.

What We Are Looking For: We seek an enthusiastic individual with a working knowledge of Spanish and/or French who shares our ethos of supporting all learners to achieve their full potential and raise their aspirations. We have the flexibility to offer a full time or part time role for a suitable candidate.

If you are passionate about languages and committed to making a difference in students’ lives, we would love to hear from you!
