About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an Examinations Manager to manage and administer all internal and external examinations. The role will require a high level of competency and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  With proven experience of working with databases, spreadsheets and Arbor (or alternative MIS), the successful candidate will take responsibility for all aspects of examinations within the school, including entries, pre-examination set up, results processing and communications to ensure the school adheres to relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who shares our ethos of supporting all learners to achieve their full potential and will also lead and train a team of examination staff including an Examinations Assistant and a large team of invigilators.  Holding a pivotal role within the school, applicants would be expected to evidence their ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will provide support, advice and guidance to the head of centre and senior leadership team in ensuring that the centre is compliant with the JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements in order to ensure the security and integrity of the examinations/assessments at all times. Applicants would also be expected to share the Trust’s high aspirations and expectations for pupils and staff.

The Trust and its member academies are committed to promoting equality and diversity in both employment and education provision. We aim to ensure that students, parents, governors, employees, contractors, partners, clients and other stakeholders within the Trust community are treated fairly, and with dignity and respect regardless of Protected Characteristics.

Spencer Academies Trust is a Disability Confident Committed Employer.
