Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our warm and welcoming team in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking special school that puts pupils at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

As our HLTA, you will:

Work closely with the class teacher to support, lead and deliver a creative, engaging and personalised curriculum for children with a range of complex needs.
Contribute to the day-to-day running of the classroom, including planning, preparation and assessment activities.
Lead small groups and cover the class in the teacher’s absence.
Line manage and support a team of Teaching Assistants, ensuring high standards of practice and promoting a positive, child-centred approach.

Our Ideal Candidate:

You will be:

An experienced HLTA or teaching assistant with relevant HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
Passionate about early childhood development and inclusive education.
Skilled in supporting children with SEND, including those with autism, communication difficulties, and sensory needs.
A calm, proactive and confident leader, able to support and inspire others in the classroom.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
