Invigilators should be reliable, punctual, and able to
follow instructions with the flexibility to deal with unexpected situations.
They should be able to work well individually and as part of team.
Applicants should be available to work during the busy GCSE
& A Level periods from May to June and may be called upon throughout the
year when other exams take place, typically during November, December and
January.
Experience
is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020). This means that certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’ and do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
