Wymondham High Academy are seeking a highly skilled
and proactive Data Manager to lead the academy data management
provision. The postholder will oversee the development, accuracy, and strategic
use of the Academy’s MIS(Bromcom), ensuring data systems support school
improvement, Senior Leader requirements and school level data in line with DfE
requirements and the Ofsted Inspection Framework. This includes preparing the MIS
for the new academic year, supporting key platforms such as 4Matrix, ALPS, GL
Assessment, iPayimpact, FFT Aspire and work in partnership with the Academy’s Senior
Leadership Team to implement a whole Academy plan for data and the use of the
MIS across the Academy, covering targets, assessments, behaviour reporting,
attendance, admissions data, census etc.
The role requires exceptional organisational
skills, advanced data expertise and strong communication. The postholder will
also line manage the two Data administrators and oversee data protection
processes in line with GDPR.
The successful candidate will be proactive,
organised, and confident working in a fast-paced school environment, ensuring
data is accurate, accessible, and effectively used to support student progress
and school improvement.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must have:
Previous experience working in a school setting
Strong IT skills and confidence with data analysis and reporting
Knowledge and experience using a school MIS
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
Willingness to support and train colleagues in the effective use of data
Experience
Experience using Bromcom is desirable but not essential
