The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of English to join our successful English department on a part‑time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students of all abilities are challenged, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, dynamic English lessons that ignite a love of reading, writing, and communication.
  • Assess, track and monitor pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners.
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the English team.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and outstanding behaviour for learning.
  • Engage fully in wider departmental and school life, including enrichment opportunities.
