About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Art to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a developing department and inspire students through a high-quality, knowledge-rich art curriculum.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities
  • Teach across Key Stages, ensuring strong progress and outcomes for all pupils
  • Contribute to the development of a knowledge-rich curriculum in line with Trust expectations
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support student progress
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour in line with the school’s consistent systems
  • Provide clear, impactful feedback in line with the school’s whole-class feedback approach
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and extracurricular activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the Trust
  • Engage fully with CPD, instructional coaching, and professional development opportunities
  • Uphold and promote the values and ethos of Cottenham Village College and Astrea Academy Trust
