We have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join us and provide administrative support to the school. You will be responsible for the smooth running of key aspects of school administration and ensure that systems and processes are in place to assist with this.
With
excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will undertake a
range of different administrative tasks from dealing with telephone enquiries
to ensuring that records are kept up to date.
You will be the initial point of contact for queries within the school
office and provide solutions or signpost to the correct person.
You will have experience of using Microsoft Office packages and know how to use them effectively to reduce the administrative burden.

successful, well established, fully comprehensive, co-educational 11-18
maintained Academy. We have a proud record in academic, intellectual,
social and sporting, musical, dramatic and community developments. Our latest
Ofsted report noted a ‘passion and commitment to continuous improvement’ and
that ‘leadership at all levels is focused on the progress of pupils.’
The postholder will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4 pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm, term time only plus 5 additional days. This post will be based at Woodkirk Academy.
