About this Role

Wadebridge Primary Academy are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery. We are excited to be looking for an enthusiastic and child focused individual to join our friendly school. Contract type: Permanent

Contract terms: Full time 

Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Paid weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Total Hours per week: 31

Payscale: Bridge 2

Full Time Equivalent (FTE) salary: £25,948

Equivalent hourly rate: £13.45

Actual Salary:  £20,712

We would like someone:

Who has an uncompromising passion, energy and enthusiasm for working with young children 

With an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Early Years Care & Education or relevant subject as listed in DfE Early Years Qualification Check. 

With a sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and how this looks in practice. 

With high expectations of behaviour and achievement.  

Who will provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) as required. 

With an understanding of safeguarding policy and procedures. 

Who is committed to teamwork and a collegiate approach. 

Who has the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve highly and enjoy their time in Nursery.
