The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching GCSE, You will be supported by a strong leadership team and a department that values collaboration, creativity and professional development.
Be a qualified teacher with a relevant degree
Demonstrate consistently good or outstanding teaching
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Use assessment effectively to inform planning and support progress
Be able to differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with EAL
Show excellent classroom management and high expectations of behaviour
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities
