About this Role
Chiltern Hills Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual for a voluntary placement counsellor position. This is an excellent opportunity for those currently studying at Level 4 or above in counseling and who hold student or full membership with the BACP or another recognised professional body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students.
- Support students' emotional and mental well-being.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Currently studying at Level 4 or above in counseling.
- Student or full membership with the BACP or another professional body.
- Commitment to one day per week, during term time (Tuesday or Wednesday).
- Full DBS and recruitment checks will be carried out
