Bloxwich Academy Primary – Bloxwich Lane, Walsall, West Midlands, WS2 7JT

Salary: Leadership Scale 10 (L10-L13)
Start Date: January 2027 (or earlier if possible)

Following the successful promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher to another school within the Trust, we are seeking an exceptional and experienced leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with a proven track record of driving school improvement and making a lasting impact at a strategic leadership level.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who combines a deep understanding of effective teaching and learning with emotional intelligence, integrity and the ability to inspire others. You will be someone who values collaboration, builds strong relationships and leads with empathy, bringing colleagues with you as we continue to secure strong outcomes, develop an ambitious curriculum and provide exceptional opportunities for all children to be the best they can be.

Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the effectiveness of our provision, celebrating what works well and identifying opportunities to improve. You will be curious, reflective and evidence-informed, drawing on the latest educational research to ensure our decisions have the greatest possible impact on pupils' outcomes.

This is an opportunity to join a successful and ambitious primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. You will model outstanding practice, help shape our strategic direction and play a key role in driving whole-school priorities. If you are an inspirational leader with the vision, expertise and determination to make a real difference, we would be delighted to hear from you.
