Actual Salary: £21,774.31 (FTE £25,315)

The role:
We are looking to expand the Science Technician Team at Bloxwich Academy. Do you enjoy the thrill of scientific experiments? Are you committed to supporting and facilitating a positive learning experience to improve the education of our students? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our dedicated Science department.

Bloxwich Academy are seeking to appoint a motivated Science Technician to provide technical support and assistance, including the preparation of tools, equipment and materials for lessons. The role forms part of a central team and you will work closely with teaching staff to support and develop the work of the department and the experiences of students.

About you:
This is a fabulous opportunity for any enthusiastic individual with a scientific interest who will work closely with the department to provide a positive and impactful learning experience. Your skills will include:

·        -A Level or further higher-level qualification related to Science (or relevant experience);

·        -Good time-management, organisational skills and work-planning;

·        -Ability to work comfortably both in a team and independently;

·        -Demonstrating a passion for Science.
