About this Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (term time plus 2 non-term week, inc inset)

Salary: £20,049 p.a (pro rata to weekly hours and term time)

This position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers and support staff to positively impact the learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a variety of learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively
  • Work alongside teaching staff to deliver high-quality support in the classroom
  • Assist with small-group interventions and targeted programmes
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with students to help them thrive academically and socially
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Support the school's values and commitment to raising achievement for all learners

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are caring, patient and committed to helping young people succeed
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Are adaptable and able to respond to the diverse needs of students
  • Ideally have experience of working with young people, although full training will be provided
