St Peter’s School is
seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated PE and Sports
Technician to support the work of our dedicated and successful Active Health
Faculty.
The Active Health
Faculty is a popular and thriving area of the school, offering a broad range of
qualifications alongside an extensive extracurricular programme. This role will
provide essential support to ensure the smooth delivery of both curriculum and
enrichment activities.
The successful
candidate will support the effective delivery of the Active Health curriculum
by maintaining and preparing equipment, resources and teaching spaces,
assisting faculty staff, and helping to ensure a safe, organised and engaging
learning environment for students.
Extracurricular sport
is a key strength of the faculty, and the PE and Sports Technician will play an
important role in the administration and organisation of sports fixtures,
events and after-school clubs. The role will also involve supporting transport
arrangements and other logistical requirements associated with the faculty’s
extensive programme of activities.
A full driving licence
and willingness to undertake minibus driver training would be desirable,
although these are not essential requirements.
This is an exciting
opportunity to join a committed and supportive team and contribute to the
continued success of sport and physical education at St Peter’s School.
We are based in Huntingdon, just 12 miles north of Cambridge with its own mainline station connecting with London in less than an hour.
