About this Role

Salary: NJC (Outer London) Grade 3 SP 2-3

Hours: 12pm - 2pm  Monday to Friday (10 hours per week). Term-time only, 38 weeks per year. 

The successful applicants will:
  •  Work well within a small team
  • Enjoy working in a child centred environment
  • Be organised, flexible, able to work independently and calmly
  • Behave in a warm, yet professional manner towards colleagues, pupils and visitors at all times, and contribute to the positive ethos of the schools and the Trust
  • Be prepared to work outside in a variety of weather conditions

 Key Responsibilities will include:

  •  Supervising pupils in the lunch hall, on the playground and in the classroom to ensure their safety and wellbeing
  • Overseeing play-based activities
  • Promoting good manners and appropriate behaviour
  • Supporting and encouraging pupils’ social interaction
  • Undertaking first aid as necessary in accordance with health and safety guidelines
