About this Role

Contract:         Maternity Cover

Hours:              Part time/Full Time (3 – 5 days per week)

Salary:             Commensurate with experience – Teachers’ Outer London Pay Range MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance

About the role:

  •  Day to day responsibility for the co-ordination of SEND provision
  • Working in close partnership with the Head Teacher and other senior leaders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our most vulnerable pupils
  • Collaborative working with our SEND leaders and teams across the Trust
  • Liaising with external agencies and providing pastoral support to pupils and their families 
  • Advising and supporting class teachers and other colleagues on strategies to support pupils

 The successful candidate will have:

  •  Experience of SEND teaching across the primary age range
  • The ability to lead school improvement initiatives and be committed to achieving high standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • A thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
  • The NASENCO Qualification or willingness to complete the Award
  • The ability to lead and manage a team
