About the role: 

We are seeking to appoint an organised and experienced individual to join our finance team to cover a period of maternity leave for the post holder until 28th May 2027, or upon the return of the substantive post holder. In this role you will work to support the Operations and Finance Manager, providing a full range of financial and accounting support. This will include detailed monitoring of the school’s financial systems, producing financial report and processing invoices and purchase orders.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a full range of finance administrative support to the school
  • Hold, or is currently working towards the AAT Level 3 qualification
  • Have the ability to use all Microsoft and Finance packages to a proficient standard
  • Have the ability to show sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues 
  • Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a busy school environment
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
