About this Role

Ormiston Maritime Academy is a vibrant, forward thinking academy providing a comprehensive and inclusive education to students from age 11 – 16. Main responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day to day operation of our Inclusion Hub, leading a specialist team to ensure all students within the centre have the best possible chance of success whilst working in line with whole school expectations.
  • Develop, deliver and monitor the effectiveness of a range of programmes, activities, courses, and opportunities to provide all necessary support for all identified students.
  • Liaise closely with teaching staff, support staff and families to provide personalised support for all identified students that leads to them engaging in learning and achieving in line with their potential
  • Attend and actively participate in regular inclusion meetings and carry out agreed action points.
