We are looking for a SEND Learning Mentor to join our
team here at Nottingham Girls' Academy. This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
About the role:
The successful Learning Mentor will support Teachers to
ensure that pupils, specifically those with additional needs, engage more
effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through
appropriate provision.
The ideal candidates will:
Experience with academic interventions, for example: Catch
up Literacy, Catch up Numeracy, ELSA and barriers to learning including: SEMH,
ASD, EAL and literacy difficulties, would be desirable.

The Nottingham Girls’ Academy, part of the Greenwood
Academies Trust (GAT), based on the outskirts of Nottingham, provides 11-19
education for over 900 pupils. The academy, led by the Executive Principal,
