Required for a September 2026 start, an exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated professional to join our forward-thinking MFL Department. We require a candidate who can teach Spanish to Key Stage 4 and French to Key Stage 3. The ability to teach Spanish to Key Stage 5 and French to Key Stage 4 is desirable but not essential.

The MFL Faculty at Leventhorpe has a clear Teaching and Learning Philosophy with a friendly team of supportive colleagues. We achieve consistently excellent results with 55-60% of students taking languages at Key Stage 4 and high uptake at Key Stage 5. The department runs a Language Leaders Programme and an annual Cultural Appreciation Week. We also enjoy multiple residential trips to Benalmádena, Desvres and Nice.

Leventhorpe is a successful, oversubscribed Business and Enterprise Academy with keen and respectful learners. We are also the lead school for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the Bishop’s Stortford Educational Trust (BSET).
