Following the successful promotion to Headship of our Deputy
Headteacher, the Governing Body of Leventhorpe is seeking to appoint a dynamic and
inspirational successor with a proven track record to join our Senior
Leadership Team.
Leventhorpe is a unique school that blends academic ambition with genuine warmth, nurture and a strong sense of belonging. We have a committed, hard-working and friendly team of staff in our school, supporting our students to achieve great outcomes both in the classroom and beyond. The role will suit a highly organised and strategic leader with calm authority and a solutions-focused approach. A natural communicator and collaborator, the successful candidate will be confident in managing complexity, balancing multiple priorities and supporting others to meet high standards. They will bring empathy, clarity and professionalism to their work with staff, students, parents and governors and will lead by example in all aspects of school life.
Reporting directly to the Headteacher and working closely with colleagues across the Senior Leadership Team, the Deputy Headteacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the continued development of the school. At Leventhorpe, we are committed to innovation and continually seek fresh ideas and forward-thinking approaches to enhance our provision.
The Deputy Headteacher will provide strategic leadership for the Academy’s inclusion agenda, ensuring that our provision is ambitious, evidence-informed and, most importantly, delivers strong outcomes for our most vulnerable learners. This is an exciting opportunity to build on our existing strengths and further develop an inclusive culture in which every student can thrive.
Leventhorpe is a successful, oversubscribed Business and Enterprise Academy with keen and respectful learners. We are also the lead school for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the Bishop’s Stortford Educational Trust (BSET).
If you are an inspiring, ambitious senior leader driven by the pursuit of excellence, commitment and respect, we would be delighted to hear from you.
