The Governing Body of Leventhorpe is seeking to appoint an exceptional educational leader to inspire, lead and continue to drive the school forward from September 2026.

Our Headteacher’s main role is to provide highly effective, professional leadership for the school which secures its continuing success and improvement by ensuring high quality education for all students and excellent standards of learning, achievement and pastoral care. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of achieving exceptional outcomes, coupled with a deep commitment to providing a truly holistic education. We are seeking a Headteacher who believes in high expectations for all, delivered with care, who inspires confidence through integrity and presence, and who understands how to bring out the best in students and staff through fairness, clarity and genuine relational leadership.
Leventhorpe is a successful, oversubscribed Business and Enterprise Academy with keen and respectful learners. We are also the lead school for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the Bishop’s Stortford Educational Trust (BSET).
