We are looking for a versatile and outgoing
individual to join the Academy as a Casual Event Technician to support our
community hire and lettings activities. The hours are not fixed. Hours of work
are dependent on actual bookings in the theatres and typically fall between
07:00 – 22:00 on weekends.

can multi-task, with a professional and friendly disposition. He or she will be resilient, driven,

This post is based between the Landau Forte Academy
sites across Tamworth (LFAT QEMS and LFAT Amington) and will report directly to the LFE Manager.

Duties for this job will include (but are not limited to):
· Organize
general, regular maintenance of performing arts spaces and maintenance of
appropriate resources and equipment.
· Keep up to date
with lighting rig maintenance
· Keep up to date and accurate records of stock, equipment and other
resources
· Work as part of a team to deliver the varied tasks across the school,
showing flexibility to meet the demands required.
· Work closely with Site and building maintenance
team when undertaking essential maintenance work on the venue.
·
To
assist and organise scenery and props as required.
· Taking a lead
role in Health & Safety for the Theatre space.
· Attend LFE client meetings to manage technical
requirements.
Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities relevant to the post
as directed by the Chief Executive Officer, Principal, or LFE Manager.

Landau Forte Academy QEMS joined the Landau Forte Charitable Trust in
September 2011 and delivers education to 11-16 year olds. Landau Forte Academy
Sixth Form is a purpose-built establishment providing Level 3 courses, both
Advanced Level and BTEC, for the whole of Tamworth and beyond. The academies
are located on a shared campus, but both operate from their own facilities,
with Landau Forte Academy Sixth Form having new bespoke, accommodation, which
