Landau Forte Academy Tamworth Sixth Form & QEMS are popular and
heavily oversubscribed academies in Tamworth.
QEMS was judged as GOOD by Ofsted in September 2022. Tamworth Sixth Form
was judged as GOOD with OUTSTANDING features in November 2024. We are committed
to prioritising the wellbeing of our staff through a wellbeing committee by

We are looking for a versatile and outgoing individual to join the
Academy as a site support team member.
The role will be full time and hours will be set on a rota basis as
directed by the Site Manager between the core hours of 6am to 10pm.
The type of person we are looking for is likely to possess infectious

with a professional and friendly disposition.

Duties for this job will include:
·
Maintenance and repair of equipment and
facilities, to prevent any loss of learning time.
·
Performance and recording of routine maintenance
and safety inspections
·
Minor alteration projects
·
Managing the works of external contractors
·
Clearing and setting up of rooms
·
Carrying out of maintenance tests
·
Closing and securing the Academy including
activation and deactivation of alarms
·
Assisting with security issues
·
Supervision of and ad-hoc assistance to the
cleaning staff, as required

Landau Forte Academy QEMS joined the Landau Forte Charitable Trust in
September 2011 and delivers education to 11-16 year olds. Landau Forte Academy
Sixth Form is a purpose-built establishment providing Level 3 courses, both
Advanced Level and Applied qualifications, for the whole of Tamworth and
beyond. The academies are located on a shared campus, but both operate from
their own facilities. Both QEMS and
Tamworth Sixth Form are oversubscribed.
