Do you want to work in a school where the behaviour and attitudes of students is outstanding, a school which is driven by strong values, a caring ethos and a commitment to educational excellence, and where each and every student knows the gift of life in all its fullness?  Furthermore, a school where extra-curricular success is amongst the highest in the country and student outcomes are well above national average.

With a desire to work in busy and vibrant areas of school, and an exceptional telephone manner, you will have the skills to handle a wide range of tasks.  You will have a highly professional and personable approach and take pride in delivering an excellent reception service to students and visitors to the school.

As the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, governors and visitors you will be confident in dealing with any situation that might arise with professionalism and courtesy.

You will ensure that all visitors have a legitimate right to be on school premises and ensure appropriate safeguarding and risk assessment measures are in place across school.

Administrative tasks will include, amongst other tasks, mail sorting and franking, taxi, minibus and meeting room bookings.  You will input information onto school databases; producing class-lists, registers and other reports as required.  With an eye for detail, you will ensure that records are accurate and kept up to date for the purposes of Fire Evacuation and Safeguarding.

You will be willing to uphold the values of the School and respect the highly sensitive and confidential nature of this combined role.

Previous office experience, strong IT capabilities, first-class communication skills and a strong work ethic coupled with the ability to remain calm and professional, will all be essential qualities in this highly varied and front-facing role.

Completed applications should be submitted via My New Term by 9am on Monday 12th January 2026.
