handle a wide range of tasks. You will
have a highly professional and personable approach and take pride in delivering
an excellent reception service to students and visitors to the school.
As the first point of contact for students,
staff, parents, governors and visitors you will be confident in dealing with
any situation that might arise with professionalism and courtesy.
You will ensure that all visitors have a
legitimate right to be on school premises and ensure appropriate safeguarding
and risk assessment measures are in place across school.
Administrative tasks will include, amongst
other tasks, mail sorting and franking, taxi, minibus and meeting room
bookings. You will input information
onto school databases; producing class-lists, registers and other reports as
required. With an eye for detail, you
will ensure that records are accurate and kept up to date for the purposes of
Fire Evacuation and Safeguarding.
You will be willing to uphold the values of
the School and respect the highly sensitive and confidential nature of this
combined role.
Previous office experience, strong IT
capabilities, first-class communication skills and a strong work ethic coupled
with the ability to remain calm and professional, will all be essential
qualities in this highly varied and front-facing role.
