About the role
OIEA is an inclusive Academy seeking to appoint a
passionate and experienced Numeracy Intervention Lead to support pupils with
special educational needs. These needs may include challenges related to
cognition and learning, social, emotional, and mental health, communication and
interaction, as well as physical, sensory, and lower literacy skills. Our
diverse student body requires targeted support and interventions to thrive both
emotionally and academically. The selected candidate will engage with the Support
Centre Manager, SENCO, and both pastoral and teaching staff, attend meetings,
and collaborate with external specialist agencies to provide effective support
for our pupils’ success.
This role is part time 24 hours per week, term time
only. The working hours are 8.35am – 3.05pm Mondays and Thursdays, 8.35am –
3.35pm Tuesdays and 8.35am – 2.35pm Fridays.
