To coordinate and
manage the internal exclusion room, including resources and environment.
·
To facilitate
identified students having access to personalised programmes and support
provisions so they are empowered to self‐manage and achieve expected rates of
progress.
·
To work with
Heads of Year and Pastoral Support Assistants to ensure identified students
within their year group are supported in their learning and progress.
·
To liaise
effectively with Senior Leaders, Middle Leaders, SENCO, colleagues as well as
parents/carers and other outside agencies.
· To support students and staff with reintegration following a referral ·
To coordinate the daily operations of the Internal Exclusion Room (IEX) and deliver appropriate provision
·
To develop
personalised programmes for identified students in order that they fully access
the curriculum and are empowered to self‐manage their own behaviour
·
To ensure the
personalised curriculum delivered in IEX supports teaching and learning
·
To develop and
recommend students to specific programmes of support that will enable them to
address their and modify their behaviour.
·
Identify, adopt
and monitor the most effective behaviour approaches for students, including
intervention programmes where necessary
