Payscale: H5(9) £27,115 (£22,409
pro rata approx) depending on skills and experience
We are seeking a Pastoral
Assistant who will provide a complementary service to the
existing pastoral and teaching staff, addressing the needs of children who need
help to overcome barriers to learning and emotional wellbeing, both inside and
outside the school, in order to achieve their full potential. They will work
alongside the Inclusion, Behaviour & Safeguarding Team.
Verulam places great emphasis
on extra-curricular activity and engagement and benefits from outstanding
attendance and exemplary behaviour.
The school has good GCSE and A Level results and achieved an
above average Progress 8 score of +0.44 in 2024 for the whole school. It
was judged to be a Good school in all categories by Ofsted in May 2024.
