Design Technology Technician
22 hours per week – 3 days per week (Term Time + 10 days)
Sept 2026 Start – NJC Grade 5 (£26,403 – £28,142)
Pro-Rata Starting Salary £13,819 – £14,729
Crofton Academy is seeking to appoint a hand’s on, enthusiastic Design Technology Technician to join us on a part-time basis from September 2026.
The successful
applicant should be confident in the use and maintenance of machinery (band
saw, lathe, laser cutter, fret saw, etc), and be self-motivated, organised and
have a great eye for detail.
In this role you will be responsible to the Head of Technology, coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities, including the provision of support and guidance for both staff and students in regards to the practical requirements of the curriculum, along with preparation of materials and maintenance of equipment.
