Lead Practitioner and Second in Department - Maths

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Lead Practitioner and 2nd in Department to join our Maths department on a permanent basis. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to work collaboratively across the academy and within the Maths Department to develop colleagues in delivering outstanding lessons.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Trust Director of Maths and the Subject Leader- Maths to support the development of the Maths curriculum to raise academic achievement and ensure all pupils make outstanding progress.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within English to achieve their highest potential across Key Stage 3/4.
  • An outstanding Lead Practitioner to inspire, guide and advise on best practice in the Academy. To work in a teaching and learning team and in conjunction with the Deputy Headteacher to support whole school improvement.
  • A Lead Teacher of Maths who can promote and enhance the quality of Maths teaching and learning across all key stages.
  • An excellent practitioner to work collaboratively to achieve ‘outstanding’ teaching and learning across the whole school.
