Casual
contract
Our Governance Professional to the
Governing Board is stepping away from the role this summer, after supporting us
for nearly 15 years, and we are seeking her replacement. Full training for the new person will be
provided, and there is no expectation that they will have already any knowledge
of education sector governance and law.
However, experience in similar work, involving minute-taking, attention
to law and guidance, and maintaining records is likely to be of considerable
advantage; as will be flexibility to attend meetings (most of which are
scheduled in an annual programme).
Our
OFSTED grading has been confirmed as Outstanding (November 2023) and the
inspection team have written that:
‘Staff say that they are very well
supported. Staff feel valued. They have high praise for how leaders look after
the staff’s well-being and their workload.’
‘A school of exceptional quality.’
‘Pupils meet leaders’
exceptionally high expectations for their work, personal development and
behaviour.’
‘A highly ambitious curriculum is
in place for all pupils. A broad and rich curriculum prepares pupils
exceptionally well.’
