About this Role

Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Headteacher for Finham Park School for September 2025  or January 2026. This exciting opportunity has become available as the previous post holder moves to become the Headteacher of a larger, all-through school in another Trust.

Finham Park School is a larger than average secondary school with a Sixth Form. It is situated in the South of Coventry with easy access to all major routes (A45; A46; M1; M45; M6) between centres in the Midlands.

The successful candidate will lead Finham Park School, working with a team of highly qualified and dedicated colleagues in our continued drive to provide a “World Class” education for all students.

We are looking to appoint a charismatic, dynamic individual with exceptional leadership skills, who naturally inspires others and is passionate about teaching and its impact on learning. The successful candidate will be driven by a commitment to create the best possible educational opportunities for our students, in order to raise aspirations and transform lives.

Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Headteacher who will:

  • be an already experienced and successful leader with the potential to become “World Class”; a willing and capable learner who is able to articulate a vision for the school and who will inspire and empower others to share in achieving it
  • have a determination to build on strengths and lead the school to even greater success
  • inspire and motivate students and staff, ensuring all are valued and supported to be the best they can be
  • be passionate about making a difference for every child
  • maintain and develop excellent relationships between staff, governors, parents, students and the wider community
  • be committed to being involved at a strategic level in the development and growth of our Multi Academy Trust – unique in its ambition to promote co-construction at all levels

The application pack contains letters from the CEO/Executive Headteacher; Trust Chair and Local Governing Body Chairs. We welcome enquiries from both serving Headteachers and experienced Deputy Headteachers and are happy to arrange informal, confidential discussions or visits to the School W/C 28th April 2025.

Should you be interested in either of these options, please contact HR on 02477180000, Option 2 for HR or apply@finhampark.co.uk

To apply, please read our pack before providing a full application form through MyNewTerm. Please ensure your supporting statement sets out why you feel that you are suitable for this role and includes demonstrable impact of your leadership and achievements.

Closing date:  Tuesday 6th May 2025 @ 8am
