About this Role

As a  KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support learning and development across a range of abilities.
  • Help create engaging, inclusive classroom experiences that inspire a love of learning.
  • Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, nurturing confidence and independence.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, from creative projects to enrichment activities.
  • Share ideas and reflect on practice within a trust that values continuous improvement and teamwork.

Hours:  14.75  Teaching Assistant hours & 1.50 Lunchtime Supervisor hours per week

Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (Term time only)

Paid weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)

Salary: £24,469.00 pro rata

Actual Salary: £9006.24

  • Recent, relevant and meaningful KS2 experience - this is a must have for this role and the children you will support.
