Executive Assistant (EA)

Scale Pay Point PO1 (27-30) Actual Annual Salary: £27,031 – £29,243 (All Year-Round Equivalent: £38,220 – £40,777 FTE)

Pattern of hours will be 30.5 hours each week - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 8.15am-2.30pm and Tuesdays, 9.15am-5.15pm 

Term time only plus 2 days

(some flexibility with proposed working hours may be possible)

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and adaptable Executive Assistant to join our  established support staff team within a school judged by OFSTED as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas, a school where both student achievement and attitudes to learning are amongst the best in the region.  We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire’s most scenic areas, whose facilities have been further enhanced by the completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment and expansion project.

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide professional support to the Headteacher and members of the Leadership Team. The position has arisen due to internal structure changes and provides a fantastic opportunity to work in our “amazing” school which was recently judged by Ofsted as Outstanding in all areas for its second consecutive graded inspection,

The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with administrative efficiency and accuracy. They will possess excellent secretarial skills, a strong command of the English language (including accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar), and expertise with the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher. We also looking for someone with sound financial acumen and the ability to analyse data and be supportive of the generation of income. Substantial experience in a similar role and the ability to maintain very high professional standards, including confidentiality and discretion, are essential. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills, warmth, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm, self-assured, and composed in all situations are crucial for success in this role.

An exceptional organiser with proven experience providing high level administrative and PA support, including diary management, meeting coordination and accurate minute taking

A highly skilled communicator with outstanding written English, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to draft professional correspondence, reports and presentations with precision

A confident user of Microsoft Office with strong IT, design and problem solving skills, able to create high quality documents, bulletins, marketing materials and presentations

A calm, adaptable and emotionally intelligent team member, demonstrating confidentiality, discretion, professionalism and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities

Someone with sound financial acumen, able to support budget monitoring, analyse data, and contribute to generating income through sponsorships and partnerships
