About this Role

Maternity cover from September 2026

As Subject Leader for REP, you will be responsible for leading and developing a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum across all key stages, in line with the school’s curriculum intent. You will ensure high standards of student attainment and achievement by monitoring and supporting the progress and development of all learners, including through your role as a Teacher and Form Tutor. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing the teaching practice of colleagues within the department, modelling excellent practice and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Through your enthusiasm and subject expertise, you will inspire a love of learning in students while promoting a safe, respectful and inclusive environment through positive behaviour management.

About us

At Rossett School our journey begins with shared values that create a warm, welcoming community where everyone feels truly accepted and valued. These values nurture kindness, respect, and positive relationships, inspiring each of us to grow into the best version of ourselves. We are proud that Ofsted recognised our school’s ethos, stating that 'a culture of kindness and respect is the hallmark of everyday routines.' This reflects the commitment of our staff, students, and wider community to creating a supportive and nurturing environment every single day.

We’re proud to offer a thoughtful, innovative curriculum that combines rich knowledge with the latest technology. Our dedicated teachers warmly engage and support every learner, helping them discover their potential and preparing them confidently for life beyond the classroom.

Learning here goes beyond academics, with a wide range of enriching activities that spark curiosity, build character, and celebrate each student’s unique talents—all within a safe, calm, and caring environment.

Our behaviour approach is built on clear, consistent expectations that help students focus and thrive, supported by compassionate pastoral care that ensures everyone gets the right support at the right time.

We are proud to be part of Red Kite Learning Trust, enabling us to draw on all the support and expertise this offers. A partnership that opens doors to new opportunities, inspiring growth, development, and limitless potential for both our students and colleagues alike.
