About this Role

Permanent, Part-Time 27 hours per week, Term-Time plus training days (39 weeks)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:15

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant  to focus on SEND / SEMH to join our team! At Rossett School, our ethos is rooted in inclusion and opportunity for all. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child can access and thrive in mainstream education, whatever their individual needs. About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

  • Adaptable and flexible and ready to support different classes, subjects, and respond to changing need
  • Confident in curriculum knowledge, understanding learning goals and how to support them effectively
  • Able to use your initiative and work independently, leading groups, and taking responsibility when needed
  • Empathetic and supportive, capable of understanding pupil needs, managing behaviour positively and building strong relationships
  • Able to establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
