About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice IT Technician to join our school team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience while making a meaningful contribution to the IT department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the rollout of our new IT device scheme, while gaining practical knowledge and hands-on experience across a range of IT functions.  This is a fixed-term position for 12–18 months, working 37 hours per week (including the 20% off-the-job training element of the apprenticeship), on a full-year basis (52 weeks). The role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn in the workplace while earning a salary and working towards a Level 3 IT qualification.

Essential entry qualifications: Must hold a minimum of 3 GCSEs desirably at Grades 4/C. If candidates do not hold maths and English at grade 4/C or above, they will be required to complete Functional Skills qualifications alongside their apprenticeship.
