We are
an outstanding co-educational grammar school with outstanding provision for our
young people. Our vision is to pioneer a grammar school education which equips
the visionaries of tomorrow.
This is
an exciting opportunity for an effective subject
leader of art to join us on our journey to provide a learning environment in
which students can thrive, unleash their creativity and to excel beyond the
school gates. Our school has an undeniable sense of community, and we are
immensely proud of the conduct and attitude of our students.
This is an excellent opportunity to
join a hard-working and ambitious team, who aim to provide all students with
access to outstanding creative opportunities across a range of subjects. Art is
a popular option at KS4 and KS5 with 110 students currently studying GCSE and

The successful candidate will have a
high level of technical knowledge and be able to teach at all key stages,
including A-level. Our students are keen to learn and challenge themselves,
with many going on to art and design related degree courses, or apprenticeships
upon leaving school. You will be flexible, positive in your approach, and able
to work as part of a dynamic team. You will line manage one other teacher of
art and a non-teaching technician. You will be willing to participate fully in
a busy and successful school.
Applicants will have the opportunity to
work alongside outstanding practitioners in an environment which fosters high
achievement and high standards. Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School offers extensive
