Teacher of Humanities (specialising in Philosophy and Ethics)

Salary MPS 1-6 / UPS 1-3

Full Time or Part Time

Starting September 2025

The Hazeley Academy is seeking to appoint a highly effective teacher of Humanities, specialising in Philosophy and Ethics, with an ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential to develop into KS5. The successful candidate will have a real drive to deliver exciting and innovative lessons within our academy community.

 The ideal candidate will:

•  Have experience of teaching across Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups
•           Have a high regard for their learning environment and resources
•           Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students
•           Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students
•           Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
