Beacon is our on-site Alternative Provision
at St Peters CofE Academy which is designed to support students with
significantly low academic ability, taught by a specialist SEN teacher who
provides a more tailored approach to learning.
Our goal is to provide a nurturing and

emotionally, with the ultimate aim of reintegrating the students into
the mainstream curriculum when appropriate.
The provision offers:

Small class sizes for
more focused, one-on-one teaching.
Access
to additional support in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional
development, which is embedded within the curriculum and delivered through
interventions.
·
A structured, supportive
setting that encourages engagement and confidence-building.
The
successful candidate will:
·
Have a good level of education
·
Be an excellent role model
·
Be able to build positive
relationships with students.
·
Believe in a creative approach to
learning
·
Hold high expectations for all
students in terms of behaviour and achievement.
·
Be committed to working as part of a
large team
