We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about their subject, to join our experienced science department in September 2026.

 Physics or Chemistry are the preferred specialist subjects.

We are not able to offer sponsorship to non-settled individuals for a Skilled Worker Visa.  

The successful candidate will

• Teach science at all key stages.
• Have a proven track record of high quality teaching and learning and of raising achievement.
• Be a successful teacher of science with an awareness of curriculum development.
• Have a commitment to improving the life chances of all our students and being willing to go the extra distance to do so.

Our School

Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2025.
