About this Role

The opportunity:

We are seeking to increase our team of Examinations Invigilators to provide an efficient and effective invigilation support service to the Examinations Office, ensuring the integrity, security and smooth running of all examinations. 

Training will be provided prior to undertaking Lead Invigilator duties.

The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term contract.

The initial contract will run to the end of the 2025/26 academic year and will cover the summer examinations period which runs from 27 April 2026 – 26 June 2026.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

        Supervise students during examinations.

        Maintain the security of examination papers, scripts, equipment and stationery.

        Attend paid training and review meetings twice per year.

The successful candidate will:

·      Have a good command of spoken and written English.

·      Be calm, discreet, reliable and attentive to detail.

·      Deal with students firmly, fairly and pleasantly.

·      Remain composed under pressure and follow procedures accurately.

·      Be flexible, adaptable and able to work as part of a team.
