About this Role

Teacher of Mathematics 

The Academy is looking to appoint an energetic and well-qualified Maths graduate to join a strong department in a highly academic school.  The ideal candidate would be able to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and teach KS5 either immediately or in the near future and would be keen to work at the highest level of secondary school maths. 

Successful applicants will be supported through their ECT process (if appropriate) with a dedicated mentor, in-school training and a supportive department to help them develop into a highly effective practitioner.

The candidate must be:

Highly organised and meticulous.

Creative and imaginative.

All our KS4 students complete Higher tier Edexcel GCSE Mathematics. The A level specifications offered are: Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Mathematics (9MA0) and Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Further Mathematics (9FM0). Pearson Algebra Level 2 qualifications and AQA Further Maths qualifications are also taught at KS4.
